    You can see the changing views of the seasons from the gest rooms of the hotel.
    You can see the trees which are full of nature (except some rooms). Especially very good view in the South Building Japanese Room.

    About how much space does room have?

    We offer a variety of room tipes with a size ．
    Western-style rooms are 38 to 52 square meters, and Japanese-style rooms are 10 to 10.5 tatami mats. There are other special rooms and Japanese/Western rooms. >

    Is there any rental Yukata for children?

    Yes, there is. The size is 80cm to 150cm, and there are red and green, respectively.

    Would you like smoking in the room?

    Our all rooms are non-smoking. If you want to smok,we have smoking booths in each building.

    We serve a traditional Japanese course dinner mainly Yamagata cuisine.
    Every main dishes has Yamagata beef.

    What kind of meals do you serve for kids?

    For children elementary school age, we serve a dinner almost same like to adults.
    For kids from 3 to 5 years old, we serve a dinner like a lunch box.

    Can we bring them food in the hotel ?

    Yes you can and if you want we can warm up it.

    I have an allergy. Can you change some dishes?

    Yes、if you have any allergies, please let us know 5 days before the date you check-in.
    We do our best to meet your demand.
    On the other hand, It is very hard for us to meet your request on the day of you check-in.

    The quality is sulfur hot spring with strong acidic.
    The effects of ZAO hot spring are good for a scrape, a burn, chronic skin disease, sickly kids,
    , chronic female disorders, diabetes, high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis and so on.

    The hot spring bath is barrier-free?

    The dressing room is barrier-free but it's not inside the bathroom.

    Can I have a day trip to your hot spring bath?

    Yes, you can enjoy it from 12:00 to 15:00. The cost is JPY1,000++ per person.
    When we have a spring cleaning the bathroom, it will be closed. Please check the availability in advance.

    Is it safe to bathe in the hot spring for child and infant?

    Yes, it's no problem. Just watch your step in the bath, because it's very slippery there by Yunohana (flowers of sulphur).

    Is it safe to bathe in the hot spring for pregnant woman?

    It's no problem on spring quality. If you have any concerns, please consult your physician.

    Can I take a bath even if I have a tatoo?

    We are really sorry to say that ,if you have tatoo you can`t use public bath.

    How can i make a reservation for a private bath? And how mach does it cost?

    You can make reservation it after checking in. We have three kinds of it.
    ①Yamano megumi @4,400JPY/45min① Morino megumi @2,200JPY/45min
    ③Satono megumi @3,300JPY/45min。Who stay in our hotel we have discount 1,100JPY．

    Is there a foot bath?

    Yes, there is. It's open for 24 hours.

    Can I go to your group hotels for a hot spring?

    Yes, you can. Please take a group hotel free hot spring pass at the front desk.

    Can I change bath towels?

    This is large open-air bath where 200 man and women can take a bath at the same time.
    Discount tickets are available at the front desk. About 8min by car. (Closed during the winter.)

    I would like to know Zao cable car station. (Distance and Time)

    Zao cable car station is divided into the Sanroku line and Santyo line. It's 1760 meters above sea level. In summer mountain lift is also available, and trekking to Iroha Swamp is possible. Course setting is possible according to the level. Open hours are from AM8:30 to PM17:00.

    What kind of shops are there in the hot spring town?

    There are a lot of hot spring facilities, souvenir shops and restaurants. There are also some shops which serve Tamakon famous as Yamagata soul food in front of their shop. Please enjoy it and have a good time in Zao.

    Does the ski area be located nearby?

    Our hotel is located next to Yokokura ski slope with Zao Ropeway. You can get there just by crossing the bridge at our parking spaces.

    Illumination of Zao Snow monster is limited edition project sponsored.
    Night cruising is a limitide-time project sponsored by Zao cable car station.Time of event is 17:00 to 21:00 (Last ride 19:50). Starting reservation from 7days before, 17:00, 18:00, 19:00, and 20:00. If you want to bye ticket ,please contact Zao cable car station.If you going to Night cruising at 18:00, dinner will be accepted at 19:30. Please contact us in advance.

    I would like to know Okama. (Route, Price, Down period)

    From Zao Onsen, go througt "Zao Line=Free" and "Zao echo Line=Free". From "Zao echo Line" to go up "Zao high Line=Paid" and you can see "Okama=Lake Crater". Travel time is about 50 minutes from our hotel. The price is 550 yen for a regular car. During the winter, the Echo Line is closed and you can not go to the kettle.

    Is there a golf course nearby?

    Yes, is there. Zao Country Club is recommended. It takes 20 to 30 minutes by car.

    Is there any hospital nearby?

    Yes there are Yamadai Hospital, Miyuki Hospital, and Saiseikan Hospital. Please consult with your symptoms.

    Is there a ski lift discount ticket on sale?

    Yes we sell ski lift discount ticket at the front desk.
